Rellova Marketing Communications Policy
Legal entity: Rellova LLC, an Illinois limited liability company.
Launch scope: United States and Canada; adults 18+ only.
Effective date: August 11, 2026
Transactional vs marketing
Booking confirmations, security alerts, verification codes, payout notices, safety messages, and service updates are operational communications and are not treated as optional marketing merely because they are electronic.
Marketing emails/SMS/push notifications must use separate preference controls.
Canada
For Canadian commercial electronic messages where CASL applies, Rellova will:
- obtain valid consent or document a lawful implied-consent basis;
- identify Rellova/sender as required;
- include a functioning unsubscribe mechanism;
- honor unsubscribe requests within the legally required period;
- maintain consent records.
U.S.
Comply with applicable email, SMS, telemarketing, and carrier/platform requirements. Phone verification consent should not automatically become marketing SMS consent.
Preference center
Users may opt out of marketing without losing essential account/booking/safety messages.
